Job: Inventory Job Position

THE POSITION

We are seeking a full-time Associate with solid experience in manufacturing and inventory management. ebs Associates is an Authorized Reseller in Fishbowl Inventory Software. Fishbowl Inventory is the #1 selling inventory management solution designed for QuickBooks. This product is designed for wholesale, manufacturing, retail and service companies, multiple locations, order management, bar coding and more. Fishbowl gives small and mid-sized businesses advanced inventory management and manufacturing capabilities. The accounting professional functions as a partner to the client, producing accurate results and ensuring the client’s financial success by providing a clear financial picture of the client’s business at all times.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Remain current on all Fishbowl and QuickBooks Certifications within 90 days of new releases on QBProAdvisor.com website.
• Oversee accounts with multiple clients as a Fishbowl and QuickBooks Consultant.
• Produce accurate results, ensuring client’s financial success.
• Maintain reliable transportation for driving to/from clients.

QUALIFICATIONS

At ebs, your values, abilities, and demonstrable track record of success are generally more important to us than direct experience.  That said, the ideal candidate would have most or all of the following:

• High School diploma required; 4 year accounting degree or business-related degree highly desirable;
• Solid experience in Manufacturing and Inventory Management;
• Fishbowl and/or QuickBooks ProAdvisor Certification highly desired;
• A  thorough and complete knowledge of QuickBooks accounting software is highly desirable;
• A thorough and complete knowledge of Fishbowl Inventory or QuickBooks Inventory is highly desirable;
• Ability to work alone as well as with the client and/or professionals in busy environment;
• High proficiency in, or able to quickly master, all phases of the accounting cycle including:
  • Inventory management and forecasting
  • Bar coding
  • Serial number tracking
  • Drop Shipping
  • RMA tracking
  • Order Management
  • Advanced cost accounting
  • Depreciation methods
  • Various aspects of month end/year end accounting tasks through financial statements
  • Cash bank reconciliations and management
  • Setting up and using chart of accounts
  • Profit and Loss
